You’ve been waiting! The time is now to complete your certification and become a USSF soccer official. It is an easy 3 step process.

1 - Register - First time officials must complete registration with the state referee program and pay your fees.

2 - Learn - Complete your certification through video learning modules, quizzes, and a final test - all online - then attend a clinic in person. After you register, find available clinics for the Central region and beyond — choose from the dropdown “Entry - Never been a USSF referee before”.

There is a USSF Grassroots certification class being held on October 31 from 8:30a-12:30p at location to be determined (in or near Richmond).

3 - Assignment - After you’ve completed class, join CVSRA (Central Virginia Soccer Referee Association) and receive officiating opportunities aligned with your experience and comfort.
