We heard you! CVSRA youth-only workshop!
In response to many, many requests, CVSRA is offering a youth referee only workshop. The workshop is open to all middle school and high school CVSRA members and registrations are filling up fast.
Content specifically for CVSRA youth officials:
A keynote presentation from Ed Marco. Ed is a long-term USSF instructor, currently a U.S. Soccer national Referee Coach and a USSF National Referee Emeritus.
Hands on small group activities with lots of soccer video clips to discuss.
More than a dozen referee mentors to interact with. CVSRA mentors are carefully selected officials with experience to share from high level matches in the youth leagues, the area high schools, and the college and pro leagues.
Presentation on growth mindset assisting you with your referee skills and also helping you achieve your academic pursuits and goals.
Lunch, pizza and soft drinks will be provided.
Get your seat reserved today! To register for the January 26 11:00am-2:00pm workshop at the Bon Air Community Center:
Be a current CVSRA youth referee (middle and high school age).
Agree to attend the entire workshop from 11am-2pm. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and everyone is asked to be seated no later than 10:50 a.m.
